I often post songs on soundcloud that were recorded as unreleased recordings, demo’s, alternate versions, and so forth. The recording I recorded is called “Mannequin”. I wrote the lyrics & sang the vocals, but the music was recorded in 1969 by the band Montage. It was an unreleased studio recording from their session titled “Thor and or”. During off times, I often hum or sing my own melodies over other artists songs, and this demo was speaking to me. I wrote the lyrics, and recorded the song in about an hour in 2007. It was done all in fun, but it came out pretty nice.

I have done this with other recordings that were done in the 60’s that were unreleased songs, demo’s, or instrumentals. I’ll post some others in the future.
